The 12" diameter produces a broader tone than 10" tambourines, while the single row of jingles produces a less intense sound for more delicate passages. The lighter weight and shorter depth also accomodates smaller hands or younger players. Hand Hammered Jingles: All SoundArt Series 12" single row tambourines are custom fit with hand hammered jingles for a full and unique sound.
