Available in double or single row configurations, with either a calf or Remo Renaissance head, the S3 Series offers a unique voice for a sophisticated performance of more delicate musical passages. Calf Head: Our high quality, clear calf skin heads offer the feel and tone sought after by die hard tambourine traditionalists. Clear calf heads absorb less moisture in humid conditions than white calf heads, resulting in a more playable surface and better response when you need it most. Solid Cherry Shell: The body of our SoundArt S3 Series tambourine is manufactured with a steam bent, solid cherry shell. Lighter than our traditional solid ash shells, cherry shells are more manueverable, with less projection for a subtle voice. The ergonomic handle design provides a comfortable grip on the instrument, and the dual sized jingle slots allow more seamless shake rolls. Aged Brass Jingles: All S3 SoundArt Series tambourines are custom fit with unique, aged brass jingles for a sensitive, yet full texture.
